There is too much evil because the Human heart is corrupt. Suffering is the result of bad things we do to others. It is the result of our sins because we disobey GOD and break His Laws.
Example: If I divorce my wife, her life and my kids’ life will never be the same again. They will suffer forever because divorce brings too much evil into their lives? GOD tells us not to sin. Then we disobey and sin, then sin results in suffering and death.
GOD created us in His Image and likeness
The word likeness means the quality of being alike; resemblance. The Bible says that GOD created us in His Image and Likeness (Genesis 1:26). If you type in the Google search “Humanity meaning”, you will get the following definitions:
1. human beings collectively,
2. The quality of being humane; benevolence.
On the same screen, you will see similar words, which are: compassion, brotherly Love, fellow feeling, kindness, consideration, understanding, sympathy, tolerance, goodness, gentleness, leniency, mercy, pity, tenderness, benevolence, charity, generosity, magnanimity.
Bible defines GOD’s qualities:
You can see we are created in GOD’s Image and Likeness (Genesis 1:26) because a genuine human being has compassion, mercy, pity, kindness, goodness, generosity, and love for others. GOD created us like Him to reflect His Glory (Isaiah 43:7). Every parent will be proud to see their child reflecting them. Like a father like a son, all parents will be happy to see their children reflecting them.
The Products GOD made, are not the same product we have became
If you look again at Google results you will see the OPPOSITE of humanity which is: cruelty, and inhumanity. Unfortunately, that’s how most of us have become. Since the devil sowed tares among good ones, everybody is morally corrupted. There is no genuine person who’s still carrying the Glory of GOD (His Image and likeness).
We are all self-centred. Nobody genuinely loves others. Even siblings fight each other, and parents and children hate each other. That’s why we are scared of other human beings like us. If you have ever been angry at someone; it means you are not kind, good and tolerant to others. If you don’t feed homeless people, you lack compassion, kindness, charity and generosity. If you hate someone; Bible says you already killed them (1 John 3:15-17). If you judge others, you lose all those qualities. So, every human being on the earth is corrupted. Bible says they all sinned and fell short of the Glory of GOD (Romans 3:23) because none of us is still carrying the Image and Likeness of GOD (humanity= Godly Love).
How did human heart get corrupted?
In the parable of Wheat and Tares; JESUS reveals how GOD sowed good seeds (sons of the Kingdom) in the world, and His enemy also sowed wicked ones (sons of the devil). He told His workers to wait until the end of the world when they are already grown up; angels will remove wicked ones and throw them in the furnace of fire, but good seeds in GOD’s Kingdom (Matthew 13:24-30,37-43).
We sow seeds hoping to multiply them into many and expect many good fruits by the time they are ready for harvest. Let’s look at these 2 images. There are good apples and damaged ones. If you are the harvester, you will not take the rotten apples, but good ones. Bad ones will be thrown in the bin or the fire.
As GOD sowed good seeds in the world, when He comes back, the rotten ones (tares who are morally corrupted) will be thrown in the furnace of fire, because they don’t look like apples that GOD planted. They are the sons of the evil one. If you put that rotten apple between good ones, they will also get rotten soon. That is what happened to us. Bad ones have to be separated from good ones so they don’t corrupt them again.
Sin kills, sin brings evil from one person to another, sin damages life
There is suffering in the world and is the consequence of our behaviours. People die hungry while others are throwing food in the bin. All human conflicts are because we fail to love one another. Love is to help others, but we cannot help each other because we are self-centred. Many people suffer because we ignore them, or someone envies them or wants to take what belongs to them.
People do evil because they think it is a way of life. They think that if they don’t do it, they won’t get income to survive. If someone opposes them, he will immediately become their enemy because he is interfering with their business. That’s how people don’t like GOD because He holds us accountable for our evil deeds and people don’t like to be judged. GOD stands for good (John 7:7, Luke 6:22-23).
Only GOD has the power to repair what He created
Did you see how easily builders fix a house and you won’t even recognize that it was an old house or a damaged one? Did you see how the tailors fix torn clothes? Because the one who makes something is the only one who can fix it when it is damaged because they understand how it is made, and how to remove defects. That’s why you bring the builders to fix your house because they understand how it was built.
Since every human being failed to be what we are made to be, only GOD understands how we get damaged and how to fix us since He is the One who created us. He has spare parts for us.
GOD created all through His WORD (John 1:1-17, Colossians 1:15-20, Quran 3:45), when people became corrupted, the way He created them, the same way He fix them with His WORD because the WORD of GOD has life in Him (John 1:4). If sin damages life, the WORD of GOD can fix it.
JESUS is the WORD of GOD. JESUS is mostly known as the Miracles Worker. He healed any sickness including spiritual sickness such as demon possession, depression and raised dead people. JESUS proved that He can restore human life.
GOD promised us that He will remove a stubborn heart of stone in our flesh and give us a new heart and new Spirit (Ezekiel 11:19; Ezekiel 36:26; Jeremiah 31:33; Hebrews 8:10). When we accept JESUS to be our Savior, GOD gives us a new heart and a new Spirit. Then if we obey GOD through His WORD JESUS, through obedience; our new Spirit will start to produce these fruits to others: the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (Galatians 5:22-26).
People who reject the WORD of GOD
GOD will not judge people because they are sinners, but because they refused to be repaired, those who reject His WORD. His WORD is here to repair our brokenness and restore HUMANITY in us but many have not received Him. When GOD comes back, He will not take them because they are still corrupt and will corrupt chosen ones again if they are mixed again. So, they won’t be remixed but They will be thrown into hell fire (Matthew 25:41, Matthew 13:40-42). There is a day that GOD said we will have eternal life, the one we call Judgement Day. JESUS calls it Harvest day because it will be to harvest and remove corrupted fruits from good ones and send good ones into the Kingdom, but bad ones in the bin (hellfire). Think about how you can also judge those apples separating corrupted ones from good ones.
So, people who reject the WORD of GOD (JESUS) will not be healed and will appear to GOD with the same corruption. The other people who are in trouble are the ones who think they can heal themselves (self-righteous people). We don’t know what those qualities of humanity look like in real life. But GOD knows and can re-install them in us. So, the self-righteous, and those who rejected JESUS, will disqualify themselves to enter the Kingdom.
Please come to The WORD of GOD (JESUS) before it is too late. Nobody knows when death will seize their life. After death, there are no more chances to be saved but waiting You don’t know when your last day is and can happen anytime.
Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved (Romans 10:13). Please call JESUS to save you and lead your life. Let Him be the centre of your desires and your thoughts. May the Holy Spirit from GOD help us all. Amen!
